I wondered about the "need" for a front locker but after talking to some of the more hardcore guys a couple of weeks back (some with crazy builds), several said "never needed it" (BLD seems to do the trick most often)
One guy put in one of those Torsen differentials and really prefers it as it locks when needed, he can steer, and so on. He said no way he'd go back to a "locker" in the front. No switch, it takes care of itself.
I have seen where alot of guys upon regearing will opt for Eaton lockers or ARB air lockers and of course have a ARB air compressor . Alot of guys swear by the air lockers.

I have had ARB lockers in my TJ for about eight years now and are really happy with them.
But don’t feel the need for a front locker in my Mojave.

Much of the terrain I hunt in is clay and rock and clay I wanted the locker and the wider axles.
Mojave have the wide axle. Have you used the front locker yet?
