Hi All!

This day has finally come. We launched a grab handle mount for the 24+ Jeep Gladiator.

It has 4 ball mounting locations ( never used simultanously ). This allows for a huge array of mounting options whether you're on the driver side or passenger side.

It also allows for you to mount either on the top or bottom of the grab handle.

If you have any questions feel free to let us know. I'd love to assist.

Check it out here - > Jeep Grab Handle Mount

As always, thank you all for the support!

Sweet. If those are as nice as the accessories that work on the MOPAR dash rail - they'll be solid and the least vibration of anything I've used.

That looks like it could be a really nice option for Mrs ShadowsPapa

The problem for them with us is - we use those handles getting in..... if I put anything in the way of either handle, I'd hear about it!

For her, it just needs to be a place to slip the phone into, one handed, like the Weathertech cup phone holder she had in her Grand Cherokee and is now taking up a cup spot in her JLU.
She can simple aim the phone and it drops into the holder.

She doesn't use her phone for other things like I do - maps, JSCAN and other stuff. She only uses bluetooth with it for hearing texts or noting phone calls (and she usually waits to do anything about those - smart)

The grab handles must remain clear of anything.

Won't work for my wife - she can't reach that high..... even for me, the A pillar handles are ideal.
She can't fully straighten her left arm, and her right arm is about half the length of yours.
Oh, sorry I didn't know. But I hope the other way does for her!

We're going to drive to Florida in March - so I want our Jeeps ready for a long trip - likely take mine but she looked at mine approaching 10,000 miles and said "maybe we should take my new one, yours is getting a lot of miles on it". I had to laugh - yeah, ok, if that's a lot of miles.............
Either way, I want to make sure we've got a Jeep or both fully outfitted for phones, charging, and more for the trip. So trying different phone mounts is a double thing - I wanted a change anyway, and - things are looking good with these mounts. Too bad the Mojave doesn't have dash grab handle screws - but I think a longer arm on the ball on the dash rail will work for her to place her phone - if I can find a cradle type to work.

I’d use the top one but probably never the bottom. I too use the handle for launching myself into the Jeep. be good for a Zoleo or something of that nature to be up and out of the way.

Installed a Bulletpoint on the driver's side dash. Works great! Link below:

Great choice!

We have a similar option. With a few differences.

We attach to a track rather than a fixed ball location. This allows for mounting more than one device sometimes more importantly, by adjusting the ball location you can get the phone closer or farther from the dash by changing the angle of the arm. It's nice if you want to get the phone tucked up nicely to the dash.

It's also a bit different as it sits up on top of tray rather than in the tray. This helps distribute the load for a reduced flex at the mounting base. Of course the arms are rigid, but when mounting in the bottom of that try you'll notice a bit of flex when you pull down on the cradle. By mounting up on the perimeter of the tray it solves that. There's also a rubber gasket that runs around the perimeter of the billet plate.

100% I agree with you. to be honest it's more common for the bottom to be used with a switch panel. You can position the arm where the switch can almost sit on the dash. I don't better picture handy but you can kind of see it here.

I’m not interested in this for our JTW, but came to toot Tracform’s horn; I love our dash mounted metal arm set up with the wireless charger (MagSafe) 🙌 been on for close-ish to a year and it still doesn’t make noise.

If/when I get a second Jeep, I’ll be perusing their site for new phone mounts 😉

I think Jeeps should come with USB charging ports on the top of the dash...............

I use this on our newer JL/JTs:

https://www.bulletpointmountingsolu...-wrangler-jl-4xe-gladiator-b-size-1-inch-ball

I went with the 1" ball because that's compatible with RAM mounts, and I have been using those for decades with trucks, Jeeps, motorcycles, UTVs, etc so I have a lot of stuff already. But they also offer it in 20mm ball, which looks like it might fit the the Tackform mounts? Obviously the clamp and mount could be moved to the for her. If it's just for the trip, you might want to consider a crab clamp instead. I use one like in the 2nd pic to mount a small mobile GMRS to the grab handle in my UTV so it's easily removable. They make these clamps in different sizes, and also with threaded holes like this or with a ball mount. With one of those, you can move it to whichever Jeep you take on the trip, and remove it when not needed.
