Figured I’d give a shout out to @3Wliners I saw here they were offering some promotions over the holidays on the forum and I contacted them about my wife’s Wagoneer L. After some back and forth they offered to provide me with mats for my Gladiator as well and I wanted to offer my review!
I received both the bed liner and new floor mats for my Gladiator a few weeks ago. I was impressed with the quality of the products.
The packaging was well-done, and I had a positive impression before opening the box. Upon unboxing, I laid out the products and took some photographs. There were a few creases or folds that required some time to flatten, but these were minor and expected. The mats themselves are softer and more malleable than factory mats; I personally prefer them. The design resembles the tread of a tire and in my opinion is a pretty cool look. Once installed, the front driver and passenger side mats fit perfectly. The coverage is comparable to factory mats, with slight improvements in certain areas due to the different cutting patterns. However, there is no drain hole plug for those who prefer to use that functionality in their floorboard for cleaning.
So far my favorite thing about these mats are that they provide significantly better grip than my factory mats did. My factory mats were slippery, especially when wet. These mats have a better grip when stepping on, due to the combination of deeper grooves in the pattern and a different compound material.
For the rear mat, it is a single piece that fits exceptionally well. The only notable feature missing is that only one snap-in will attach; the other snap has a notched hump that will fit over too the factory snap. However, it tucks around the under-seat storage basket and fits tightly around the edges, preventing any slippage. Coverage is slightly better underneath the front seats but not quite as high around the door trim. I believe coverage is better around the cup holders since there is no connection between two mats like the factory, but you lose the ability to remove individual mats if there is a significant mess in the back. I generally vacuum mats out first before removing them, so it is not a major concern, but if you simply grab and dump, this could be inconvenient. As with the front mats, I notice better grip when stepping on 3W vs OEM.
Overall, I prefer the appearance of 3W liners; they seem to have a darker color and I like the design/pattern better. The fit is excellent, and they provide superior grip and fulfill their intended purpose effectively. I would not hesitate to purchase these over OEM on any vehicle. The price appears to be considerably lower than OEM, Weathertech, etc. in most cases and quality seems to be on par with any of those brands. The only drawbacks I can see are the absence of drain holes and possibly the absence of a second snap-in rear seat, along with Jeep logos if you require factory badging. Personally, I have been thoroughly satisfied with these mats so far and would purchase a set for any new car I own. While I will not write a review here for my other vehicle, I had a very similar experience with the Wagoneer mats I received from 3W. They look and fit great!
Only had them few weeks, so I would like to update the review after three to six months of use. But they have already conquered 2 snowstorms here in the Carolinas and plenty of messes from the kids with no problems. I would certainly recommend these mats to anyone interested in purchasing a new set. Additionally, I’ll have a review on the bed mat out as well soon!
