Looking for ditch lighting illumination ideas…

I couldn't see paying almost $600 for 2 pieces of plastic, so I worked 2 lights into my cowels
Considering doing something like this.

Did you use their provided gaskets, or made your own?

And did you try to tilt them down to level?

If not level, how far out sideways from the truck does the light hit the ground?

yes I did use the supplied gasket.
They aim strait out.
the lights hit the ground maybe a foot from the side of the bad.

Looks like my harness pkg got lost. infinite offroad has sent another pkg. Its a shame the first pkg made it half hour away and disappeared. Keeping fingers crossed this time
