What passed you was the AEV brute double cab. It has a 5’ bed, and the “tiny step hoops” I’m assuming your referring to the rub rails on the rear bumper? That’s for protection, and not really a step. That’s the upfit that jeep clearly used as a template for the gladiator build. Dave Harriton did it first hahaOk folks I know that this is not a Gladiator. I can tell the obvious differences. But when I saw it pass by me I had to quickly turn around and see if it was a Gladiator or if it was one of those custom jobs that looks an awful lot like a Gladiator and probably cost as much to customize just to look like one. Bigger bed(looked to be about 6 feet long), very high ground clearance. Fail to understand the tiny step hoops.
