Well this is interesting. I am in D1 status. If what you posted is accurate then Jeep should already have an estimate shipping date for my truck. Hmmmmmm!!!!!!!

Oh and congrats!

“Accurate” is the question!
No reason for me not to trust my dealer, so far he’s been pretty damn “accurate” all along... but, at the same time, “C”, “D”, “D1”, “E”... all these statuses... we’re just taking the word of someone (dealer, Paige, Barb, Jeff, whoever) on the phone. Can’t verify it on the “TRACKER” until the build’s complete! So, I reckon I’ll take it all with a grain of salt... until I see “Big Buck” (my GCMJTLE) sitting, all cleaned and prepped, in front of the main showroom, at Casa Chrysler Jeep, in Albuquerque! Then I’ll finally breathe a sigh of relief! ;{

@WildJD , congrats on moving beyond D1. Since both of us did not have any build dates, I will need to call tomorrow to check for any updates. Keeping fingers crossed.

Hey @WildJD fyi I have always said that sometimes “if” can be a big word. And as I said above:

“If” what you said is accurate then Jeep should already have an estimated shipping date for my truck.

We shall see. Time will tell. Not holding my breath here. But will look to see your soonest pictures of your new ride. Crossing fingers for ya pal.

“Accurate” is the question!

That's awesome! First Granite LE on here actually reporting some production state!

Remember, what the Jeep dealers see, as well as chat/concierge line, lags reality. I was in framing (E) ~10 days ago, even if it's still showing me in D1 with my dealer:
Kayakmike pmed me his, yours is probably done. edit: I should add: NO bazinga this time...lol

I still think/hope/wish that any VIN before 144521 will be complete and ready to ship this week (KZ). I'd also guess they are building them in VIN order, but the ship dates probably vary depending on destination. Maybe a missing estimated ship date has more to do with transport logistics (having enough vehicles to ship to a region) vs. actual build. They are going to wait for several train cars going to the same area of the country before they ship. I know mine will be shipped by train to Salt Lake City, then trucked to Nampa ID (Boise area).

We were on a bike ride today around San Diego Bay and rode by the holding yards for all the various manufacturers waiting for sea transport. Only saw a few JTs in the Chrysler lot. The Tacoma, Audi/VW and Mazda lots were packed.

Good point... shipping logistics would definitely vary per unit, that makes a whole lot o’ sense! And the lag time for communications, not to mention Human error, anywhere along the chain! Fingers crossed! ;{

Hey GCMLE folks! Happy to see you are progressing. Just a couple reminders. A system ship date really corresponds with a build date. You should be going to production within 24 hours of that date. Shipping is anywhere form 3-20 days after that depending on the complexity of your build and back logs at other stages.

Also, Jeep usually won’t communicate a ship (or production) date. But many times your dealer will. Usually when you are in D1 your dealer will have your “ship date” somewhere in the system. (Just remember what I said above about ship dates).

Can’t wait to see one!

Hey @bangolia this is good to read. I ordered mine 2 weeks ago this past Friday and am already in D1. No clue when the exact build date should be. I asked my dealership to check the status just once each week, on Fridays. We shall see.

I've heard that est. shipping date is really start of build before. Asked my dealer about that (Kent in Nampa, ID), and he said he's been seeing JTs shipping pretty close to the est. shipping date (at least the ones he's received so far). Will be interesting to see with the ~25 Granite LEs we are tracking on here when builds start and how the ship dates compare to the estimates. @WildJD 's E status sure looks like they are building them before the est. ship dates (I know he doesn't have an est. ship date).

Well guys, I bailed on my Granite order. At dealer right getting a Punkin Rubicon. Dealer got one in Friday and gave me first shot at it. Big switch in color but the Punkin is an awesome color. Hope all you Granite guys, especially the LE, get them soon.

Kayakmike...
Edit #1: Added @NTLOST to the list.
Edit #2: Updated @JacksonAdiator's info.
Edit #3: Added @NoiseBoy303 & @kponcher to the list.
Edite #4: Updated @terrordbn's ship date.

Time for a new Edit! “E” ;{
For you @WildJD, I had to redo the Granite LE tracking table. Removed the folks that bailed on their Granite LE orders, and added a bunch of columns for tracking dates (that will hopefully be populating quickly).
Jeep Gladiator First Granite Crystal VIN# Post Here upload_2019-8-28_11-18-29

EDIT #1: Added more status updates/VINs after original post earlier this AM.
EDIT #2: Added @WildJD's build sheet date, @Rebel JT 's status
EDIT #3: Added @jctnt1's ship date and @Rebel JT's build sheet date.

Paige confirmed I'm still D1 as of this morning.
