Dealer claims invoice is 41502, and would sell at 41430 if I finance through them (could likely refinance later). I used the calculator and came up with 40435 invoice, but might be missing something.

The kicker is they are offering me 2k more than my local dealer for my trade-in and place an order. (A convertible in northern Indiana in September I haven’t had much luck selling).

Pluses- have truck now vs ordering
Lower price than overland I would order, extra mods could be done cheaper (headlights/stereo/wheels)
Negatives- color matched fenders on overland
Sting gray is second color choice compared to waiting for blue
Price wouldn’t be as good as ordering

Any thoughts or input? I’ve noticed the bed liner isn’t on the sticker, even though I thought it was required on sting grays.

With a trade in, the number that matters is the difference between the two numbers.

Price - Trade = Difference (what you pay). Makes no difference how they get there. Not to me, anyway.

From what I've learned on here I don't like the looks of it

Looks like a doc fee of $700 and an “environmental” fee of $100 on top of the 41430.

Suppose the question of getting 2k more for my trade and getting it sooner is worth paying more than ordering for 2-6% under invoice.

Part of the “use our financing” to get a deal means they won’t honor Chrysler’s advertised 3.75% and quoted me 4.99% as the best they could do

I had an MSRP of $45,310 and a sale price of $39,969... I hope you get a better deal, invoice is unacceptable.

Also, with your trade, take it to carmax or see what vroom.com or Carvana will offer you for it. That will give you a better idea of what it’s worth and if they are “actually” giving you $2,000 over on value. I had vroom offer me $3,500 more than the dealer for my trade so I just sold it to them.

If they won’t show you the actual invoice paperwork it’s not a good deal. Demand to see it and then make your decision.

First dealer offered 7000, second dealer offered 9500. Carmax offered $8500. This dealer is offering 12,350.

That does make the deal more appealing

They are not obligated to show anything but the sticker price...
