thanks. Agreed. Yes I’m over paying for a few hundred dollars worth of addons but they’re also discounting the truck 30%+!
Tell them 35k out the door and if they say no, walk away and they will call you a couple hours from when you leave or by the end of the month.

Either way, if the Gladiator is optioned to your liking and you can afford it (and I mean truly afford it, not some outrageous monthly payment that makes you rethink your grocery list), go for it. It’s not our money.

I was actually able to get them down another $800 to $36.5k. They gave me cost pricing for the add-ons. This is a cash purchase. No need to rethink the grocery list. It’s a beater.

I picked up a sport with manual trans, LSD, Tow Package, and hard top for $34,895 (sale price; OTD was around $38.5k). I got about 22.5% off of MSRP, which I thought was pretty good. Sounds like you’re doing even better. If I were you I would want to know who is doing the tint and bed liner (so I would know it was done right), but other than that it looks great. Manual locks and windows are a little bit of a bummer on a daily, but I’m not mad for the price. If it’s a “beater” or occasional driver then I doubt you’ll mind much. Something almost charming about the all manual aspect.

Adding back sales tax this is 28% off MSRP including the addons and silly admin fees. I would say it's a pretty good deal. Congrats.

this one has auto locks and windows! Only part I’m bummed about is the soft top but I live in Miami so it won’t be too bad.

I thought I needed a hardtop too. Now everytime I see a softtop i get a little buyers remorse. Like MY24 grilles they look a little goofy at first then the look grows on you.

This is a better deal than I got on my JT. I got an OK deal given the time I bought it. I’m glad you got it.

If you are ever entertaining wanting a hard top, now is the time to wait and find one with it. Getting a hard top after the fact is a pain and expensive.

I’m not really in the market for a new car but at some point we will need an additional one as we only have a single car. It’s a relatively base model gladiator sport with auto trans.

$47,280 is the msrp and the selling price is $31,700 putting me at a ~33% discount. They are adding the costs of bedliner and tints but I wanted those anyways so keeping it separate.

let me know your thoughts. Still trying to haggle those m items out so will report back if additional savings are to be had.

Oh God no... A thousand dollar doc fee? 200 electronic filing fee AND, you can beat the bed liner cost by maybe 300 bucks depending upon where you live, tint? 400 bucks??? My window tint is just fine OEM.

That is a horrible price. Do a cargurus search on your zip code, with a distance of 300 miles. Put in the equivalent model and features. I'm seing base units with a REAL 28K to 31K pricing doing that for my zip code. Then contact your local after market shops and ask about bed liners. Your local Jeep dealer will likely be able to beat that price. I paid one fee for mine a 200 dollar doc fee and that was because I was nailing them and they had to make some money somewhere. I got 30% off and no extras or fees. electronic doc fee... Ha Ha Ha... all for somebody pushing the enter button on their computer. Some states have outlawed fees like that...

I have gotten messed around like that around 30 years ago. I've learned since... You should be able to get out of the dealership now days (not counting sales tax) for a real price in the 31K to maybe 33K range on a base gladiator as in that is what you would finance... Oh, if you are going to pay cash, do NOT tell them that until the very end of the deal. THEY make money on the financing. There are two rates, one is the rate the banks give the dealer. They can then add on maybe a percentage point or so and they keep that. Some states have outlawed that too.

Reasearch the dealer also. Look for reviews. If you read ones where the dealer makes a deal and then tries to add on all the other stuff look else where.

Every dealer in the US has a doc fee. You paid one too.
YES, BUT, if you note, they almost always have the word "negotiable" next to them... I negotiated down to 200 bucks...
