Just plug a usb cable into the phone and then the phone can control the radio screen. It solves most of the issues of the bluetooth and audio hassles when it decides to act up plus you then are charging your phone at the same time. I have the 8 inch screen and a moto zforce droid so I am using a usb c cable which gives the turbo charge at the same time. I was actually impressed/surprised to see the gladiator had built in USB C.

Android auto really isn't meant to work over bluetooth if you read into it more. Personally not a huge fan of android auto but it's what I use all the time because google maps is much better than the built in navigation as far as I am concerned.

Anyone try AA mirror yet?

I initially had trouble with mine, getting a phone not supported message. Turned out to be an issue with the old USB cable I was using. New cable solved the problem.
