Ok.. its confirmed!
The production gator green is based directly off the wayout concept.
I have seen it and it looks fairly close. Lighting really plays tricks with this color so it can tend to look lighter or darker depending on natural or incandescent lighting.
I have been told to NOT release the color sample I have cause technically the color is not released yet but released at some point this month and then dealers will have samples of the color.
Hope that puts alot of questions to rest.
Thank God!

Yes, from what I've seen. I wanted the wayout concept from the 1st day I seen it so it makes me happy to know the color is the same.
I will be setting my gladiator up similar to the wayout.
I ordered mine a couple of weeks ago, and not gonna lie, I’ll be pretty disappointed if the actual color is closer to the concept vehicle than what is depicted in the online configurator.

There’s something about the slightly darker green that I really prefer.

EDIT:
I cropped the front door panels in both images to give a better idea of the difference in color appearance (lighting, screens, etc all influence it, sure). But I can’t help but think of the way out concept as “Gobi Green” and the configurator color as what I interpret as “Gator Green”

And that is why I haven't ordered yet..... need to see the color. I too hope it is slightly darker, but everyone says (even Jeep) that it is the same as Wayout.

I am having a problem conceptualizing the entire Gladiator in the Wayout color.

I agree its kinda hard to tell what the color really is. But I looked at the pics of the Wayout one, that showed the interior, and in that view, you can see the door opening area. It looks to me to be a bit darker than the overall vehicle. Possibly cause its not in the intense light of the room it is in.
I figure that may be close to the correct color. I'm counting on it anyway!!

Neither of the swatches you made here look anything like the physical swatch that I have seen direct from my FCA source.
If I had to explain it, it's pretty much olive green/ army green.
Like I stated before the color of the wayout is a direct take off of the gator green color.
You may be disappointed. Hard to tell cause lighting & computer pictures from the jeep build site all look different but I'm told they are all based off the same color.

still cannot fathom why the secrecy around a COLOR, really??????????? You put it on a demo supposedly FFS....
Well its cause the color technically is not to be released until November, but I can say that it will be released later in October and then there should be swatches dealers can obtain.
What better way to hype up a color than to keep it under wraps? Marketing... people want what they can't have/see more this way.. I don't know.

I'm in the same boat as you. I ordered mine based on the configurator color only to later find this post stating that the Wayout baby poop green is actually Gator. I keep going over the renderings done in this post showing the Wayout Gator color on non modified Gladiators and have found that I'll likely be able to "suck it up" but I'm not going to be thrilled. The Tank color posted above matches the configurator better than the Wayout and is more what I was expecting.

It's not that I think a coonass can't like it, they just aren't going to see that as Gator. Gator belly maybe.
As I said before the color looks darker depending on lighting. Kind of how a pearl coat paint job looks different colors in lighting except this is not a pearl coat.
If jeep had did one thing wrong it's the lighting they have chose to convey the true color. Like someone mentioned in the wayout video if you look at the color in the door pillar when they open the door, it looks darker. I don't really know how else to explain it. I wish I could release the sample color but I'm not going to jeopardize someone's job to appease people.

This picture is a perfect example..
The jeep in the background is the same color as the one in the foreground but they look different.
Some other source confirmed that this is the production gator color but I cannot confirm if this is true. This was taken in the Toledo assembly and posted on the forums before.
