Update:
I've been told that gator will start rolling down the assembly line sometime this month.
Although I was given an exact date, I was also told explicitly not to be sharing information to online forums so that's all I can say.

And this is where Jeep (FCA) is missing the boat on connecting with it's most loyal fans. They love to say how much they support and work towards the Jeep community and then they drop the ball with simple information that really isn't secret. I mean no one else is building Gladiators. Who are they hiding this from.

Please don't take my comments as any reflection on you. I have no doubt that you were asked not to share and I can totally understand that. my thoughts are directed towards the corporate shenanigans that result in all this internet speculation. Really, they could do a lot better.

I totally agree. I have ordered many vehicles in my life and this is the first one that I have no idea what the color looks like. Makes me very nervous. I hope we have answers soon cause I want to know what I'm spending my money on.

The production gator green is based directly off the wayout concept.
I have seen it and it looks fairly close. Lighting really plays tricks with this color so it can tend to look lighter or darker depending on natural or incandescent lighting.
I have been told to NOT release the color sample I have cause technically the color is not released yet but released at some point this month and then dealers will have samples of the color.
Hope that puts alot of questions to rest.

Yes, from what I've seen. I wanted the wayout concept from the 1st day I seen it so it makes me happy to know the color is the same.
I will be setting my gladiator up similar to the wayout.
