Ordered 9/10 and still in Inspection...

I ordered 9/11. Mine is scheduled to make the train ride from Toledo to Kansas City today...Dealer telling me it can take 2-3 weeks to get loaded on truck & make the final ~100 mile trip to here...And I wait...

What is your build? I didn't see it on any of your post. Rubicon? Color top? Fenders? Etc?

Rubicon marching fenders black top with soft. Also almost every option but the trail cam

Ok this might be a dumb question. How does the upgraded radio sound? I have a 15 jk with the upgraded radio and it sounds great. Is this comparable?

I sure hope so. I was happy with the radio in my 07 JK.

Ordered 9/10 and still in Inspection...

Mine may as well still be in inspection...It is still sitting in Toledo somewhere waiting for the train to bring it to Kansas City. It was originally scheduled to be on the train 10/22. That did not occur !

I checked with dealer this morning -- they're saying it should arrive in Kansas City 10/28 or 10/29; then 10-14 more days to be delivered to dealership.

Frustrating the Gobi & Gator orders are being delivered when I'm still waiting for a Hydro Blue that was completed 10/03.

Still waiting! I've gone from KZS to KZT though, I guess that's... progress? Hopefully yours is working out for ya so far!

I've been lucky so far, none of the inner fender issues or bluetooth/ phone noise issues.
I have been working too much to get off road, but I have been on the freeway everyday. She's so smooooth.

They "generally advise" but people have been getting them in around 4-6 weeks. My problem is there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason (that they share anyway) for the huge deltas in different stages. I thought maybe it was waiting for parts or equipment, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Without parts holding things up, I'd expect them to be first in first out, but that doesn't seem to be the case either. If I KNEW, the wait wouldn't be as painful. Ignorance is NOT bliss in this case.

IF I had no forum to see updates, no FCA chat to ask for status updates and the dealer had just told me 12 weeks to delivery, the waiting would have been easier. It's hard to resign myself to that knowing they are coming in all over the country though.

Sure enough, they upcharged me $450 from my initial build estimate.
$195 extra for paint
Trailer tow went from $250 to 350
Radio went from $1595 to 1695
Led group went up from $995 to 1045

kinda crummy to jack up the costs since my order was placed before they made the changes. I hoped they would have honored the original order.

That window sticker means nothing. The price you agreed to with the dealer is what counts.

And I am JEALOUS you HAVE a sticker already!

The quote I got from the dealer expressly states that it is not an invoice but an estimate, subject to changes at the factory.

At 5% under invoice though, I’d estimate closer to $300 than $450, but still. Jeep didn’t have to up these prices, especially those who were waiting on color options
