Raptor-style grill lights

Anyone have/know of lights you can add that would look like the Raptor ones? I think the Gladiator would look awesome with something like that.

Well the lights are mandated by the government, so I’d say Ford did the best aesthetic placement all things considered. Any vehicle >= 80” in width must have those lights. I think the new Raptor is like 85” or 86” wide - a good FOOT wider than the Gladiator

Well then, I guess they have a reason for looking retarded, although I have to say I work/have worked around 18 wheelers and motor cranes every day and none of them have those lights.

We are talking about the same lights, right?

I can’t say that I’ve ever NOT seen the DOT lights on a large commercial rig.

But to the OP, I’d imagine some simple amber LED lighting that was hooked up to the DRL power signal would work fine.

Clearance lamps on the cab absolutely, in the middle of the grille not so much.

Honestly I just always thought that there were a design element on the Raptor, not a legal requirement.

Yes any truck shop or ebay or Amazon will have amber clearance lamps that could be installed easily if so desired.

I saw that, and with the thought in mind that FCA did everything possible to improve air flow through the grille, closing a bunch of it up with lights and mounts seemed like a really bad idea.
