So ill try to make this story and the current situation short for the most part. My first jeep gladiator was lemon lawed in Florida due to the elusive general cylinder misfire P0300 code going on. They replaced wiring harness, told me it was the gas stations I was going to, and replaced cylinders all with no luck and months of annoying upsets every time the light came on. The lemon law process was no way fun to deal with at all either, the first code was thrown at about 240 miles and by the end of the process there was about 3k miles on the vehicle and they wanted to pay for wear and tear on the vehicle for miles currently on it not at the start of the issue. A jeep cares rep was involved, well at least had one phone call with me and told me to call him back after the first misfire incident ever happened again, over three months of repair work done, I left 18 voicemails with him through the process and not one phone call back and the dealership never heard from him like he said he would. thanks a lot for the help jeepcares. after all is said and done the vehicle was replaced and a new one was built to the same specifications of the one that was lemon lawed. Now im in the new vehicle and everything has been going well except for the ECC light coming on once then going away after driving. Today getting off shift from the fire station I start up the vehicle and boom the check engine light is on in the new one and its throwing the same P0300 code. Like what are the odds id potentially get a second lemon. I only have 260 miles on this one and haven't even had the chance to fill up the tank of fuel once yet. Im sure jeep cares will read this and give me the standard oh we are sorry to hear about your problem please send us a private message blah blah blah, well jeep cares don't worry I already sent you a message again.

Has anyone ever found the real issues causing this problem. I know some people have had luck with a random repair being the solution for them but in my opinion feel like their light will come back on with the code. this has to be stemming from one issue causing it. just seems unlikely that so many of us are having this happen to them and the ones that have had a resolution all came from a different issue.

With the fact that they replaced all your cylinders on your old Jeep seems to me that the issue is not internal but more of a computer or electrical malfunction. Why did they not replace you valves? those seem to be the most problematic issue with these engines. I'm told from engineers within jeep that mis seating of the valves is a common issue but im not convinced that all these misfire codes we are getting are coming from an internal engine issue.
I have 2 other post here about the same thing so check them out too. One is a questionare for people with the misfire issue to post so we can keep all these together and try to brainstorm what is causing the issue, but no one here seems to want to post there and would rather just complain in numerous post about the same issue.
