Confirming 297/75/17 with no lift

Actually 295/70/17. Per Yokohama the tire is 33.5x12. I have a stock Sport max tow with stock rims.

The tires are here but my leveling kit was delayed until Monday and I won’t have another chance to install it until next weekend.

Do you think I would be safe installing the tires for the week of suburban driving until I get the kit on?

You could try but if it turns out to not work your SOL without your truck until the lift comes.

i was in a similar predicament my self and I chose to wait and putter around on the little stockers. I believe that if you let excitement rule your decisions youll end up worse after the fact. But if you wait and be sure your ducks are in a row youll be happy with the results.

I suppose the tire shop will let them sit around for a week.

I have read other threads but they conflict. I was looking for this size or a 285/75/17 on stock rims and stock truck-no mods

I've seen a few members fit 295/70R-17's stock so for driving on the street you should be in good shape until the lift is installed.

Well they are on. No rubbing even at full lock.
