Gladiator 2021 gas produciton started 8/24/21. Gladiator Diesel production I believe starts on 9/4/20. Order banks opened to order 2021's from the dealer on July 1, 2020. The Diesel just became an option to order at this time. Many of us are anxiously awaiting the Diesels to be built and shipped. People that ordered the 2021 Gas are in production already.

Ahh! I was going to ask how you got your Diesel built so fast! It was a gas so that makes sense. Congrats! Cant wait to see pics.

Jwalt - I'm curious where you found the information indicating a potential start date of diesel JT production on 9/4? I ordered a diesel on 7/25 and have been trying to determine when the build may start. Thanks.

I am going off information from my dealer and a whole bunch of optimism. My early July order was originally scheduled for production on 9/4 but has been pushed to 9/14.

100% agree! I ordered my 2021 JTR Diesel with him back in July. No hassle and no issues. Great communication and very straightforward in all aspects of the deal.

It was less than a 2h drive for me so I figured I'd ride up and meet him in person. Well worth it. In and out in half an hour. I hope yours shows up soon!

I do too! Word is that diesel production was suppose to start on 9/4, so hopefully my JTR will be built this week!

On Autotrader there are several hundred 2021's advertised(only a few have pics of the real jeep(so on the lot and not in transit)) interestingly if you hit "sport" and then select "max tow" there are zero. So I guess those weren't made in first batches.

Looks like they only show 2021 gassers on Autotrader. Don’t see any diesels listed.

any guess when the 2021 order information will be back up on the Jeep.com site?
We really want to order, but would for sure like to know the colors available and how we can build each model. Our dealer gave us a price of 51,230 for a rubicon diesel with a few things we added on.

Take a look at the 2021 order guide on the forum. Has info for each trim, cost etc.

Looks like they only show 2021 gassers on Autotrader. Don’t see any diesels listed.

Also, they are showing ZERO manuals on those gassers. Only automatics.

Does anyone have an update on the build status of the JTD? I check weekly with Jeep Cares and I have been in D status for 6 weeks now.
