Hey all! I was wondering how people generally feel about this topic. As someone that has had now eleven Jeeps in the household over the years, I never needed to really think about this question.

On a semi-essential part that keeps acting up but wont make you crash... How many trips to the dealership would you make before saying enough is enough?

Well, I retained an attorney to handle my lemon law claim for the touchscreen issues. Nowhere near as major of an issue as some of you are having but... I'm just tired of going back and forth to the dealership for troubleshooting then scheduling a date for repairs.

I am on try #3 officially for my P-0300 nightmare. Will hit the 30 calendar days before try #4 since they have my engine currently torn apart. 34 days of ownership, 18 of them in the shop!

Having been down the lemon law rabbit hole before I'd say 3-4 times for the same issue and I'm calling my lawyer and BBB. I just don't have the time or patience to deal with taking a vehicle back in for repairs over and over anymore. Especially if it's an issue that can leave me stranded.

Well, just got back again from the dealership and they ordered a 3rd radio replacement. Which will make it a minimum of 8 trips to the dealership with the touchscreen not working.

Ugh, I didn't want to go back but attorney advised to document it every time.

glad I got a sport s with the most basic touch screen. its not distracting. my media controlls are split seperate from the climate controls.

sorry to hear about the issues you're having.

I am curious though, why did your engine have to be torn apart? For this or a seperate issue?

Thanks!

Engine tear down was for GIJohns P-0300 code, not mine.

On a side note, talking with the service manager today on mine, he did suggest that FCA is more likely to do a buyback since its a Rubi.

my wife bought her 2013 JK has 170,000 miles on her matter of fact we just changed the original spark plugs at 160,000 miles and has never had it in the shop for any major issue that's the reason i bought my first Jeep and i love it but its getting frustrating and Jeep really needs to address this issue better and be more proactive with solutions now my dealer has been good so far but sooner or later they are gonna get tired of seeing me i already had to switch out the instrument cluster at 9000 miles and now these misfires come on Jeep get with the Game
