Wondering if anyone else has experienced this or has any insight as to how to actually get the problem resolved.
Two days ago my Sirius Trial stopped working. I found this odd since I purchased 05/11/2020 and my window sticker says I get a year for free.
I bought out of state during Coronavirus. So I call my local dealership. They say this is a problem that the dealership that sold it to me needs to handle.
I call that dealership, they keep me on hold for about 15 to 20 minutes then tell me the problem is on Sirius's side.
I call Sirius, the person I get can barely speak English, but we struggle through it. Eventually he gets my VIN Number correctly and pulls up the vehicle.
He insists there is no trial associated with that radio. I ask for more details and he keeps repeating himself in broken English. Eventually he says he can add 3 months of trial to the radio for my trouble, but only if I agree to pay for a year and give him credit card info.
That doesn't work for me so I decide to call Jeep customer service. Jeep customer service keeps telling me that my free trail is only 3 months. Which makes no sense since the window sticker right in front of me says 1 year. They tell me to call my dealership back since the 1 year was complementary from them. They can not tell me why the window sticker says 1 year.
Call that dealership back, am told this is a problem with Sirius yet again and that Sirius has to resolve it.
I call a different number for Sirius they gave me. Sirius now pulls it up by Radio ID instead of VIN. They say now that radio is registered to a Cynthia Aaron.(the refuse to elaborate on this further) Once again they offer to sell me a subscription.
At this point I have spent about two hours on this problem with no real results, and all anyone wants to do is blame another party and have me call them. As the end user with a 63k sticker price vehicle, this is ridiculous, I should not have to be putting in this much work for a problem on their end.
