Acceptable number of missfires

If there are any mopar mechanics on here I have a question. With the Jscan app I am able to monitor the number of misfires on each cylinder. I see one bank has a large number while the other has significantly less but is there a acceptable number. The truck is in the shop again for the p0300 and I intend to monitor it after I get it back.

The acceptable number of misfires is ZERO! (Well, OK, once in a blue moon, maybe.)
If you're getting P0300-series errors, you've got a problem.

If you have paid the license fee it is under live Data click the red dot then the dot with all the check mark then the green dot then the green dot with the arrow.

Yep it’s in the shop for the p0300 and on 1 bank I get maybe 1 or 2 in a 45 min period but on the other bank it is in the hundreds.

1 or 2 in half an hour for the whole engine maybe - I could accept that.
If I saw dozens in a few minutes, I'd not be happy on a modern, computer controlled engine.
Dozens is a problem, hundreds is a bigger problem. I can sit with my 4.0 idling - with many thousands of miles, and not feel more than a misfire every few minutes.

That’s my feeling also. Like you my 20 yo 4.0 skips every once in a while but nii is t that often . I am starting to think the newest software update doesn’t fix the problem as much as it doesn’t turn on the CEL until it is real bad.
