Anyone make a side of bed tire carrier for spare?

Interesting idea but with the size of modern tires I’d imagine that it would be a huge PITA. I was thinking about mounting my spare on the hood till I realized that I wouldn’t be able to see the road in front of me.

That's awesome and true ha ha. Roof another option but not ideal. I guess under the bed is pretty practical but not very pretty

The biggest thing to remember is that once a year it’s a good idea to drop the spare and clean and lube the he chain and crank mechanism. There’s no bigger headache than getting a flat and having a perfectly good spare that won’t crank down!
