Food for thought thing: Depends on how much you use the bed. If you don't load the bed much, rake fix looks good. If the bed is loaded, you might have a squat. But if you don't use the bed much, why get a Gladiator instead of a JL or JLU... Loaded or unloaded, I'd take rake or level over squat. Just my opinion and you know what they say about opinions ?
I traded my JK for a JT for towing and light hauling ability. I put on a 3/4" level puck on the front. With a 1/3+ cord of wood, it didn't have a squat. Bunch of block, yeah, but it was stupid weight. Bags of sand and piles of lumber? No problem. When towing I use a weight distribution hitch anyway, so zero change in angle. The leveling is perfect for my needs.

I kept the stock wheels and the new tires are basically stock diameter, though about an inch wider. I would have kept the stock tires but I felt like these would be safer in the North Carolina mountains snow. I think they don’t look half bad either. Can I still stay in this support group?

LOL - sure. I mean at some point every JT owner stock or not will wear out tires or have an unrepairable blow-out and need new tires and what they came with won't be available or there will be better tires. Eventually - even if through attrition - all vehicle owners end up not 100% stock.
On the other hand - want to win a trophy and have a 200 point vehicle in events I show in - you must have a properly logo'd oil filter, OEM part numbered radiator hoses, correct tire types (meaning no radials for 70 and older cars) and other fun stuff. Good luck with that........

as long as you go with MOPAR parts for wheels lights lift HEMI etc it's still stock....
That's actually quite an interesting take on what defines "stock." I like it, particularly as I plan to install a Mopar snorkel next and don't want you guys to kick me out of the Stock Jeep Support Group.

For the better car shows stock means whatever it may have come from the factory with.
That means if there were options available from the dealer, those don't count as stock.
However, because of the whiners and the "that's not fair" crowd, they often let things slip.
I love it when I go to a car show and in the stock section there are cars with headers, after-market A/C, Edelbrock carbs and so on. And the dumb judges let it go.

Sad, isn't it? I didn't get any kindergarten graduation ceremony.
Ya work your butt off, spend years and mega-bucks to make a car correct, even duplicate factory decals and search the country for parts - and a guy buys all the chrome he can, bolts it under the hood, slaps headers on and wins.

I put airbags in the back to level it out with a heavy load. I leveled it a little with spacers, 1.5” up front and 3/4” in the back. Has a little rake still.

20 years from now all you guys with a completely stock/ original Jeep will have what everyone will be looking to pick up.
You are not wrong!! Most of us who are into old stuff prefer bone stock - then it's a blank canvass for us. I hate buying what someone else did to THEIR tastes.
I sold my 1970 Javelin for what some may call a crazy price for a car with an automatic and the color it was - because people knew the history and the care that went into preserving it, that it was stock, that I tried hard to keep it that way (low miles didn't hurt - 31,000 actual original miles) and they knew my restoration and mechanic history - so when people saw it up for sale, I had people literally saying "I want it, can I send you money" without even seeing it..
DAMN I MISS THAT CAR!!!!!!!!
A friend of mine in Fort Wayne does to the Nth degree restorations. He did a 71 base model Gremlin that was so perfect it shot to the top of the national awards. He had the paint actually done to match the 1971 methods and look. He traded it for another car and some fair cash 4 years later - the buyer didn't even ask to look at it.
