Do You Have Clear Tape On Fender Flares?

Hey Everyone,

I noticed these on my fender flares but I'm not sure if the dealer forgot to remove them or if they're intended to be there. Do you all have this same clear tape that covers the front side of the rear fender flares?

The tape is pretty hard to capture on camera. Apologies.

It’s PPF (paint protection film). All Gladiators have it there.

Not all gladiators have the protective film only the gladiators with body colored matching fenders the textured black fenders don’t have that protective film on them

I've had that on other vehicles, too. I believe my Silverado had it.

Cool! I appreciate all the info. I had noticed them pretty quickly but then I was putting on some of that ceramic wax and got confused when deciding whether to coat over them or not. Glad I left them on. LOL.

What did you use on front flares? Are they fully covered? I’m looking to ppf front and full back flares got any pics??

I just call them organic, free-range pinstripes.

I think there's a special badge for that...........maybe even a tax credit because they are renewable.

Any recommendations on what to clean them with? Nothing seems to take dirt of them.
