Wiring in halos...help please.

Disclaimer I'm not well versed in wiring things but I'm not a noob and know my way around a wrench. Not sure what to do. I recently purchased Oracle Lighting 7" high powered LEDs with white halos. I want the halos to run as DRLs. Do I tap into the DRLs on the fender or do I wire in direct somewhere? If I tap into the DRLs, does anyone know what color the power and ground wires are?

Did you get the Oracle bi led set? They have good directions in the box on how you tap in the fuse box

Yes but directions are for a JK. Don't know if wires are the same color. And the parking lights are right under the headlights. Do I tap into parking lights in the fender?

My kit came with a wire that had a fuse on it that you ran to the fuse box under the hood and you tapped into a fuse

Mine just came with some bare wires and t-tappers.

You might look into exchanging them for a JT specific set. They will fit, using an adapter, but the JL/JT is designed for 9" lights versus the 7" used by the JK.

I hooked my Halos up to it no problem. I grounded behind the driver-side headlight and hooked power up to the DRL wire in that harness.

Thanks everyone for your input. I ended following an example in the video above. I got a fuse tap and wired into fuse 52 like the video said. I ran wire from the fuse box to the passenger halo then used the t taps that came with the headlights to wire in the driver side. Just waiting for it to get darker to line up the beams. Thanks again guys, bouncing off your ideas really helped form an idea.

I have just the stock/basic headlights will the oracle stuff all work with those or only certain items? I wouldnt mind some red halo's...

Yes it will work but the 7" I got is for a JK. It fits with the brackets but the 9" is for JL/JT. Wish I had researched it more but Quadratec's website did not specify. Still like them though.
