So I have narrowed my choices to 3 for replacement fender flares. I havr factory painted on my Gator JT and hate the look, plus I am going to 37s with a 2.5" lift so the fenders need to be opened up in order to avoid clearance issues.

My top 3 choices are:

Metal Cloak

Poison Spyder Crusher (not sure if they yet make a rear flare for a JT)

FabTech

Which ever I go with, I plan to go with the steel and have them powder coated black, if that arent already. Does anyone have any thoughts or knowledge of any of these options, pro or con, difference from one to the other?

MC all the way. Beefier and stronger than Fabtech, look better too.

PS are great too but no experience with them.

Nice looking JT. Lift? Tires?
Yeah the MC are nice. Do you have a pic of your Jeep from the front? I’m wondering if the flares make it look pinched in and tapered in the front.

Ill take one after work. It does not look tapered at all.

Thank you I appreciate it. Many of the flares to me are too narrow or they’re cut so that the front of the Jeep looks like itS tapered in almost to a point. I prefer the wider look.

Most fenders are tapered in the front, if not all so we can not get away from that. compared to other flares on the market, i think it looks better than most.

I wish they would make a Galdiator version of these. They aren't tapered and have an OEM look with the slim LED drl/blinker. I may end up buying these and just chopping the rear fenders.

I have MC on my JT too and had them on my JKR as well. I love them...I had my first set Line-X'd but decided to finish this new set myself with undercoat...so far it has held up great. Some fading, but that doesn't bother me too much.

You truck looks great! I am getting ready to pick of a set myself. Did you have the factory Led option on your truck? If so did you have any issues with the MC LEDs?

Technically I have the factory Mopar headlights, but I did not get them from the factory. Bought them afterwards for much cheaper (and brand new).

I have a tazer so I was able to change on the computer I had LED lights, no problems at all.

The MC LED's work great and were pretty easy to get wired in. If the truck wasn't in 8" of snow I would try to get a picture of the wiring lol

I’m going with FabTech or genright. The customer service from both has been top notch and well priced compared to Road Armor and others.

I have seen a few FL local JL/JT owners with the MC fenders and each one of them is rusting in various spots under the powder coating. YMMV.

I’d be happy to have my mind changed on the MC fenders as they look great for a wider option!

I personally prefer the slim fender look however, anecdotally, have seen MC fenders rusting more than others.

Fishbone, DV8 and RR both make fenders that are more economically priced.
