So I've seen this discussion a few times on this forum. I have put 37x13.50R20 on a 2021 Gladiator Sport S with Max Tow package. Below are are the specs.

▪︎Kumho Road Venture MT - 37x13.50R20
▪︎Method Wheels MR605 - 20x12 -52ET (4.5" backspace)
▪︎Stock suspension and stock height

My findings are this setup WILL rub. I can get about half cut in the turning range and it will hit the front fenders. I have the two piece fenders, so a simple fender chop will alleviate that. There is almost zero room for articulation, so if you plan on running offroad, GOOD LUCK. The above is the least of the worries. On 13.50 wide setup, roughly half the tire is exposed on the front and rear. While this gets looks, it is not practical. The speedo is off by 9-10 mph (uncorrected) as well, again, not practical.

Just to be clear, I do not plan to run this setup like this. I have a 3.5" lift with adjustable control arms and front/rear track bars. I wanted to get some much needed evidence for all the people wondering.

Update:

I have recalibrated the speedo to account for the tire size change. I used the Z Automotive Tazer. The speedo is right on the money and was verified using GPS combined with radar.

All in all, the recal helped with shift points and drive train road manners. I am averaging 13 mpg at 72-74 mph all highway. Most of the time the Jeep is in 6th gear at around 2500-2600 rpm. When in 7th it is around 2350 rpm. Doesn't usually hit unless I'm going down in elevation or I use the manual mode. RPMs in 8th are around 2k or a little under.

City/Town driving it doesn't feel sluggish and shifts appropriately. I don't do much around town driving daily. I do have the 4.10 gears due to the Max Tow package.

Good info, thanks for posting this. I've got a Sport S Willys without max tow, but with a 1.5" leveling kit. I'm planning on putting some 37x12.50 17's mounted on some Black Rhino wheels on mine while I wait for a 2.5" Clayton lift to get delivered. Hoping it'll fit without rubbing.

I have added my 3.5" lift. I had opted for the Rough Country with the Vertex shocks. I will be adding a review on them at a later date, as well as a video review.

37s clear beautifully and I have gotten nothing but compliments on the set up. I still have to add my front & rear bumper.

Initial impressions on the vertex? Hard to imagine ponying up that much for a RC product but have read good things

I am impressed at the ride quality. Due to my work schedule and weather out here, I haven't taken it offroad since install so I can't provide input on that. I do live on 3 miles of dirt and the roads are semi maintained, so I do hit washboards, potholes, and ruts daily.

The shocks have an impressive build quality feel and appearance. Shock response is great. Having an 8 way adjustable shock is nice, I currently have them set to "3" but the springs are my gripe. The dual rate springs are stiff as hell. Just to install them was a task in itself.

As far as the price point, I can't argue there but I did not pay retail.

Good info. Can you elaborate on how it was in the rear fenders on stock suspension?

I have 37x13.50x17 Toyo MT. with 2.5" spacer front and .75" rear. These tires knocked the rear fender off when flexing. The tires before did great with only a small amount of rubbing. (Ironman 37x12.5) The Toyo's are much Taller (1"+) and much wider (2"+). I did the fender chop and now full flex with no rubbing. More pics on IG. gonejeepgrazy
