I never really noticed a clanking sound when I purchased mine. Maybe because Radio is up loud. But lately in my neighborhood going over speed bumps it’s really obvious. Seems to be near drivers side. I haven’t been off roading or anything. Just wondering is that normal. Almost sounds like the bed bouncing but it’s up by drives side under truck. I do have a winch. Thought maybe that. Anyone else? Or should I have it looked at?? Sounds weird to me.

Not knowing what or where it is I would be very interested to find out what where and why myself. So no that doesn't "sound" right. If you can have someone you know listen as you would drive by to help identify what and where it's coming from I would. I would be trying to find it out what and where it's from myself and promptly.
Now with that I'm particular with them things and don't trust many people with some stuff. I don't like not knowing how what my vehicle(s) are running like and trust not many with them. To the point of I changed the clutch in my LJ by myself in really cold rain and mud at my place Jan 2020 even though I had towing and rental coverage with my insurance.. :headbang: :like: I'm stubborn too.

I am pretty picky too. I think when I get a chance going to take it to the dealership and have them look at it. Sounds like something is loose. And with 2k and only driving on pavement I shouldn’t be hearing that from a new vehicle. Hopefully they can figure it out. I’ve owned other lifted Jeep’s and they don’t sound like this!!! Kind of sucky.

I've been that way especially since my first new vehicle and the Stealership lube job that wasn't completely done or done at all (???) Nine grease fittings and only three had been greased or some smeared on them that you can see just looking under from the front almost 30 years ago for me.

You are not alone. My SportS has 1300 miles on it and started making a loud rattle/clunk on the drivers side. It is easily repeatable if you "drift" left over road reflectors or manhole covers. It sounds like it involves the front or rear left door, possibly making contact with the top. It also could be slop in the door hinge pins. I called my dealer today to try and get a warranty appointment.

It truly is hard to trust someone working on your vehicle or even them taking it for a drive.

Let me know how it goes. I’ve got a busy week so late next week I am going to go up there.

I have the same. Sounds like a loose bed in the back. Checked all points after lift and shock install. Three weeks, still clanking. About to give up on what it could be. Its suspension related as it only occurs on sharp hits.

I bought mine with a lift and 37 tires. Definitely going to have them look at it. At first I thought well it has a warranty. But now it’s just annoying. Every little dip or bump sounds like my bed is going to fall off, but the sound is more near drivers door. Really aggravating.

Hi I just couldn’t take it any longer and showed up at my Dealership with no appointment. Turns out was a loose bolt on the shock. Drove it home. No noise so far. Yay!!! ?

Mine turned out to be a loose bolt on the shock.

I couldn’t take it any longer and showed up this morning at my Dealership. Turns out it was a loose bolt on the shock. He said usually after 500 miles they want you to bring it back and check it after a lift. The Dealership had mine for sale with Lift Kit and 37” tires already so basically they are responsible for it. Glad it’s resolved. So far anyways.

I took mine in 2 weeks ago for the same thing. They didn't really notice anything out of place but they did tighten up a few things and I haven't heard it since. Now the only thing that is bugging me is the constant squealing at low speeds.

Hope it’s nothing. I know the bigger tires tend to be noisy. Glad so far this was my only issue. ?

I’ve tightened mine twice. I think without confirming, the mojave shock loops are larger. When the weather is dumping snow and pouring rain every 2.5mins I’m taking them out and checking.
