Hi I have a question about towing. Is it best to turn off traction control when I am towing with a WDH?

Yes - if your WDH has sway control. Our JT’s have automatic sway dampening that will work against the hitch sway control. Turning traction control off will also disable the truck’s sway dampening. I got that info from my dealer’s service manager.

Ummmmmm, I didn't see anything in the manual about that. I've got a sway control WDH and I don't fiddle traction control with it.

The instructions on my sway control WDH said to turn off electronic sway control when using the hitch. I’ve forgotten to do that several times and haven’t noticed any difference. I guess it may overwork the brakes since that’s what it uses to dampen the sway?

Ahh, I was talking about the Jeep manual. This is the WDH we are using until/unless I decide to change to an Anderson to claw back 50 lbs of payload:

No mention is made of disabling any vehicle systems.
