2021 Gladiator Sport S Lease Question (FL)

Hey guys -

First post here. I've seen and attempted to use the enormous amounts of resources posted here that could probably answer my question if I had a brain. However, I'm resorting to making my own post to hopefully gather some opinions on how good/bad this lease deal is that I'm going in to negotiate today.

A little background, this dealership is the only one remotely close to me that carries this exact package which is what I've been looking for, so I don't have a ton of leverage unless I order. With that being said, how is this deal that I'm being offered? If this is way high, what should I be aiming for?

10k miles/36 mo
$1800 due at signing (tax/titles/fees/first month)
$529/mo

MSRP on the site says $45,585, however through email discussion the actual MSRP is $46,900 reflecting dealer-added running boards and window tint.

Any and all responses are largely appreciated, sorry that I'm a potato!

I know that COVID has messed with the pricing on these immensely, but I got my 36 month lease, 12k/yr with $1500 due at signing for $335/mo. last February. My sticker MSRP was close to 45k but the "agreed upon" price was 41k. Lease calculator online was a huge help, along with the edmunds forums. Wranglers hold their value exceptionally well, and there's no reason to believe that gladiators are any different. The residual value/money factor is set by the bank, but you can and should negotiate the actual price of the vehicle. $529/mo seems a bit high to me for a sport s. Good luck!

Yeah I'm not sure if it's COVID or Florida, but most of the quotes I've gotten back via email seem way high compared to some of the success stories I see here referencing 5%+ below invoice.

leasehackr.com use their calculator to get your deal sorted out. Try to get under invoice pricing on the Jeep and then decide if you want to put anything down....which generally isn't recommended for leases but I did it for mine.

Sounds like a horrible deal mine stickered for 46 in may 20. Paid 40800. Plus 7% sales tax, plates, fees and ceramic coated paint/undercoating. 46 and change out the door. 8k down. Financed 38k with work credit union. 60 months $228 payment every two weeks. Pluses, I own it, it's a Jeep... only vehicle with more accessories are Harleys. Anything you put on a lease vehicle is a total loss, 10k miles a year goes by real fast. On the hook maybe for big $$$ you go over on mileage

Not sure I agree with this bit.. I've made $1,500+ in positive equity on my past 2 leases. Anyway, I plan to purchase this next one at lease end, so I just view it as an investment for a bit cheaper

You didn't make anything, your paid for it in your lease payments if it was worth more than what the residual value was set at. But seriously each his own. I've owned mine for ten months and only owe 19 and change, making extra payments. Even though planning on keeping it, but under two years in it will be owned free and clear, still worth 30k+and I'll have saved thousands in interest.

Yes I understand that, I bought the house two months before the Jeep last year... currently refinancing that from 30 to 15 years.... making extra payments on that too. 27k in principal paid down the first year, lol. Yeah I live at work. But right now I feel lucky to have almost unlimited OT. Make hay while the sun shines right. What color you looking at?

Yes I understand that, I bought the house two months before the Jeep last year... currently refinancing that from 30 to 15 years.... making extra payments on that too. 27k in principal paid down the first year, lol. Yeah I live at work. But right now I feel lucky to have almost unlimited OT. Make hay while the sun shines right. What color you looking at?

Triple black is awesome, but I work in a steel mill. Would never be clean... hence the Gator green. Just got back from ft. myers few weeks ago, great weather. Enjoy the new Jeep when you get it

In July of 2019 I got my 2020 Sport S Max Tow. MSRP of ~$44,500. I did 3 year/15k miles with $2k down and my payment is $435. They were really hot then too.

Any idea what your money factor was? It seems like Chrystler Capital's is really high right now (.00242). Trying to figure out why I'm getting quoted so high

$228 every 2 weeks for 60 months is only $29,640 but you financed $38k?
