Installing Trail Rail System after spay on bedliner? Can't get torx bolts to thread in the holes

With the bedliner I cannot get the torx bolts to thread in the holes. Ideas?

Did your Jeep dealership do the spray ?

Probably bed liner on the threads. Get an M6 thread chaser or tap and clean them and you should be good.

I used an x-acto knife to ream the holes first then ran one of these through each. Removed and cleaned bedliner off of it whenever the resistance built up.

Just take a drill bit that's smilier size and drill out the holes better. Thats what I did.
