Installing Trail Rail System after spay on bedliner? Can't get torx bolts to thread in the holes

With the bedliner I cannot get the torx bolts to thread in the holes. Ideas?

Probably bed liner on the threads. Get an M6 thread chaser or tap and clean them and you should be good.

Probably bed liner on the threads. Get an M6 thread chaser or tap and clean them and you should be good.

Just take a drill bit that's smilier size and drill out the holes better. Thats what I did.
