Just spent 8 days wheeling in DVNP. Thought i would let the Jeep community know whats up. First off the park is completely open with a few exceptions. All the campgrounds were full up by mid afternoon. The road south to the racetrack had numerous small groups of overlanders camped. Likewise found overlanders camped in lost burro valley Goler wash . Pleasant Canyon and Warmsprings canyon Even a few on Chloride city road. So even if Campgrounds are full there is still lots of room. Restaurants would let you order Takeout, Stores counted people in and out. But all in all the backcountry was and is the Draw . I ordered my JT with a soft top specifically for this kind of trip and was instantly rewarded. Seeing 3 big Horn in Titus including a lamb, and a Giant Ram in Goler wash. Both firsts for me after 25 years of annual or Biannual trips. All in All its Jeep Nirvana. Keep on Wheeling

Just sent my wife a note you saw sheep in Titus Canyon. She'll be so jealous!

Sounds like an amazing trip, such a cool world we live in!

I’ve probably been through Titus 20 times in the last 25 years and this is the only time I’ve been fortunate enough to see them. If I can figure out how to post a picture I will. I’ve never seen a lamb Big Horn anywhere before.Got to say this , the open soft top let me just sit there and watch and it was so cool!!! Thanks jeep

Forgot to mention that the bridge on the side of the cliff in South Park Canyon just above the Briggs mine has been shored up. Still a lot of pucker factor, but no fear of sliding off just from weight.
