Question for the pros -- mounting my first set of beadlocks (kmc hex). My question is around the ring, should it be touching the wheel when fully torqued down? The first 3 seemed to go smoothly and i cant visually see any threads between the ring and the wheel. Working on the 3rd now and my trq wrench says we are done but visually I can see about 1 thread on some of the bolts.

Wasnt sure if I should back them all out and start over. Any feedback is appreciated.

If I recall correctly, the nuts themselves are actually threaded into the wheels. Make sure they are threaded in all the way before bolting the beadlock ring on. If the nuts aren’t threaded in all the way, they can prevent the ring from seating correctly, even if the bolts are torqued.
