Curious as my Midland has just been sitting in the garage... Where did you end up mounting the receiver? Im thinking about putting it in the glove box and using an extension for the mic. Still working through mounting options for the ghost antenna as well.

I considered mounting it in the glove box, but ended up going behind it.
I haven’t decided on a permanent solution for the antenna placement.

They were bed lined along with the sliders (Line-X) If I had to do it again I wouldn't go that route as some of the tolerances make the parts difficult to install due to the thickness of the liner.

Finally got to drive it around for a bit. Big thanks to Adam’s driveshaft for coming up with a solution to my D80 driveshaft dilemma.

I should have the hydro assist sorted out Monday so I can finally drive her home again.

We picked up a 4XE for my wife a couple days ago and while it’s a really interesting/new Jeep driving experience I miss my Diesel.

This might be my favorite build on this forum... it’s way beyond my needs, but damn it’s cool to look at and must be even better to drive! looking forward to more pics and hopefully soon with it out on the trails.
