Coil spacers, do i need shock extenders?

Hello all. I recently installed a 2.5” metalcloak leveling kit on my 2020 JT overlander. I didn’t like the way it looks being flat even front and rear, so i bought a 2” rear coil spacers. My question is: Do i need now to put shock extenders on the rear? Or will my shocks be ok if i snstall the rear coil spacers without the shock extenders. This is only for the rear since i am very happy the way the front looks right now. Hopefully someone knows what to do here.

If it were an inch, you could go either way but 2, I'd get 'em.

on a side note I am a MC fan so it's hard for me to say this... I think MC dropped the ball on the Gladiator. They've always been very well thought out lift kits but with the Gladiator they're just missing the mark IMO. The ass end looks saggy with minimal weight in the bed, so forget towing. In my little corner of the Gladiator world that's a top priority for towing my small camper. They also missed a mark that I would have expected them to be ahead of the game on, they could have engineered a rear track bar like Clayton's. Also many lift makers are seeing the light and leading the way with adjustable components that don't need to be removed such as track bars and control arms. Jam nuts are becoming a thing of the past. I'm hoping they wake up and start putting a little more effort in their Gladiator lift because I really like them.

I definitely agree on that. I love my Gladiator but they really left the rear missing so many well needed features. Thank you so much for your help.

Did you leave your stock shocks in? Did you upgrade your driveshaft as well?

I got 1.50" and my rear end def bounces more around corners. I would and shock extension or longer shocks.

I replaced all 4 shocks for the metalcloak brand “ rocksport”

Yeah, that’s exactly what im trying to avoid. I already bought the shock extenders so will definitely post back once i install everything on my Jeep.
