I want to unmarry my TAZER MINI JL that I installed in my 2021 Gladiator so i can do a software update. I went to the screen that says "Unmarry" and i unmarried it. I then did a full reboot. I have yet to remove the TAZER yet because as i scroll throught the options, it comes to a screen that says "UNMRY:05FF". This is a different screen or option than the "MARRY" screen that is showing since i originally "UNMARRIED". Is it safe to unplug the TAZER from my Gladiator without having to do anything in the screen that says "UNMRY:05FF"?

Or is the "UNMRY:05FF" screen only when i am transferring or selling the TAZER to someone else where i would need to delete my vehicle from its memory?

I know this is not the answer you're looking for, but I have not seen that screen before.

That said, It's my understanding that you can remove the Tazer at anytime while installed w/o issue. When you "unmarry" it just puts back in some old default variables.

When you go the dealership and they do updates; they'll rewrite over everything anyway.

Also, Z Automotive has always been quick to respond via email.
