The Nemesis Ind fenders look great but potentially aren't wide enough to cover the wheel/tire.

Anyone have experience with fender replacements that can support human weight when moving stuff around on top of the vehicle?

I bet the metal cloak would support a decent amount of weight but like all aftermarket fenders they too are narrow. Several inches narrower than factory causing more protrusion issues. If MC made a flare that had the same width as factory I would buy a full set today.

Wouldn't the issue not be the fenders but the mounting locations? If they mount like the plastic fenders then they would just rip your quarter panel to shreds as the rip from it under weight.

Looking at the nemesis they actually sit lower that the factory rubi flares. Check out the pics and the relationship with the hood seam. They are 3/16” aluminum.

I think the mounting location can handle some weight. My wife is around 140 and is able to stand on the plastic OEM bumpers. The bumpers bend but nothing metal does. I'm 260 and I can put half my weight on them (one on a door and one on a bumper).

I suspect autocorrect gotcha.
assuming fender, not bumper. Right?
