not water proof? The only issue I have with the three piece is that it rests on the back window when fully opened. There is no system or shock to prevented from scratching or slamming into the window over bumps. As far as leaking, its a truck, its not water proof. If you want no leaks you need an SUV.
then someone explain to jeep that there is no reason for the drain tubes...
it literally has seals on all the edges, but yet the screws in the middle will leak and rust. GTFO that's just sub par design.I’m up in NW Montana, If memory serves me correctly, I only had 1 time that it really “froze up” on me had a couple other times had to give a couple taps here and there to free it up.Resurrecting this thread. I've been reading reviews on this cover. Not here to discuss leaks - they all leak some, my question is about the top of the tailgate freezing to the back edge of the cover in cold weather climates like here in Nebraska. During a freezing rain event or a snow/melt during the day situation.
I read one review stating that the "new" generation cover may not have this problem, mine is a 2021.
Anyone experience the freeze situation? Thanks

Any updates? Interested to know if you experienced this issue with your tonneau cover.…my question is about the top of the tailgate freezing to the back edge of the cover in cold weather climates like here in Nebraska.
