Willys Gladiator tires. Mine came with BF Goodrich Mud Terrain TA's........................NOISY!

Has anyone received there Willys from the factory with the Mud terrain TAs instead of the advertised Firestone destinations? These things really sing at speed on the highway! I was gratefull that they did not have the raised white lettering as I hate them. But they are the noisyest tire I have ever encountered.

What is the largest tire I can mount on the stock OEM wheels with no modifications or rubbing?

They may have had to provide for covid shortages. Happy you got a look you like better. The white letters were one of the things that attracted me to the Willys.

My Willys also came with BFG M/T tires from factory. I agree, they do get a little noisy at highway speeds but, I'd much rather have the BFG's than the Firestones it was supposed to come with.

I love mine. BFG is a good tire. I was also happy to see the BFGs and not the firestones

Im happy somewhat with the Firestones, but swapping them out with Nittos this week. I dont need Muds and they are a bit noisy as well. I will say this, having owned both, I prefer the Firestones over the km2’s.

I’ve been happy off-roading with the Firestones. The white lettering didn’t stay white long with our Carolina red clay.

We used to have white wall tires mounted with the white on the inside of rim. Not sure that’s an option with MTs.

They are noisy, but I have nothing to compare them to. With the doors and top off it doesn’t really matter… ?

Have the KM2 s on mine, at 14000 miles one of them developed a cupping thumping noise. They will be replaced with non aggressive AT tires this week.

Same. Replacing mine with some AT's in the near future. I had a set of the Goodyear Ultraterrains (Discount Tire specific) on my Ram 1500 that I was very happy with.
