Okay so I had a 2.5 in lift put on my 2021 JT. Used metalcloak Game changer!! Have OEM seats keep that in mind.... I have an issue on the Driver Side. Spring has a Bow in it! Passenger side is perfect! 4x4 shop said this was normal and cosmetic. They say 'it's the way it is". They know more than I do I suppose. He says Metal Cloak has isolators to fix this? I called them and they said the springs in the Lift they make do not work with OEM seats! 4x4 shop didn't tell me that! Okay so now what? Do I just live with it? Will the isolators I have requested from Metal Cloak fix my issue?? Anyone else have this problem?

Have you fixed the problem? Was it a DYI job or did you/are you taking to a shop?
I will fix it myself as I installed the whole lift in my garage. Probably get to it next week.

I have the same issue with another brand lift and just ordered Rusty's off road kit. Its driving me crazy

I noticed that you have the Clayton 2.5 Overland lift and you are saying the you have the same issue. I'm looking to order that kit in the next few days and wanted to know if Clayton any suggestions? Also, is yours bowing about the same as in the pic on this thread? Should I just order the correction kit from the start? I'll be installing myself and don't want to do anything twice if I can help it.

My spring perch looks different than yours. Mine is black and doesn't seem to have as much pitch between the inside and outside (knuckle side). Mine is relatively flat compared to yours. I have a Rubicon, so I'm wondering if this part is different on the Mojave.

It’s worth the upfront cost for the bow correction to install with the lift. Mine are slightly better now that the caster has been set.

Mines a Willy’s sport. The spring seat black on passenger side and light grey on the driver’s side?

Weird. Both of mine are black, but as I looked closer, my Driver side seems to have a larger variation from the inside to out side (hub side) of the spring seat.

First pic is the Passenger side.

I think I'll just go with an aftermarket correction kit.

Why doesn’t the lift kit come with correction pads? Daystar also makes correction pads, I have had a set on for 15k miles with a different lift and they work great.

Welp looks like the springs aren't seated correctly, cause on my jeep I installed the coil correction pads and metalcloak 2.5 springs ,and the upper coil isolator was kinda of a pain to get it clocked correctly to be inline with the the one on the axle

So by doing that the springs are straight like there supposed to

If your lift retains the upoer isolator the fix may be as simple as rotating that. The first time i stuck a lift on the jt i had to re disassemble the front end to adjust them. But it made both springs straight again.
