I recently installed a Calyton off-road Overland + 3.5" lift system with Falcon shocks and Rockjock Currecrlync Steering system. I tried to install the Falcon 2.2 Fast Adjust but the the axel bracket doesn't fit.

Contacted both Rockjock and Teraflex and they don't seem to have an answer on how to make it work. The bracket needs to fit 1.65" diameter which doesn't seem to be standard.

First, I wanted to see if someone has this combo?

or

Any ideas how to potentially make it work?

Thanks,

Yeah… the falcon stabilizer you linked to is for use with the factory tie rod. To have it work with curreclync, you have to have the jk version so that it hooks into the supplied bracke from your tierod kit.

Anybody know how the rockjock tie rod ends compare to some of the other usual offerings from Rusty’s, Apex, etc?

The black bracket that connects to stock rod is removal. So technically I should be able to remove it and use the correct bracket and install it to the rockjock. What I am finding is that Rockjock uses 1.65" rod and I cant find a 1.65" diameter bracket. I have found the following:
- 1 3/4
- 40mm
- 1 5/8
- 1.5

Not sure why Rockjock decided to use 1.65".

I guess I am first person to run this setup as neither Teraflex or Rockjock have an answer on how to make it work. So if your buying Rockjock, don’t buy Falcons or if you are buying Falcons, don’t buy Rockjock. It won’t work.

So a little information. When jeep decided to make the new JL/JT platform they changed how the steering stabilizer hooks to the tie rod.

On a jk, the stabilizer goes from axle side at the trackbar to a bracket on the middle of the tie rod.

On a JL/JT, the stabilizer goes from the end of the tie rod to the middle of the axle on a bracket.

The rockjock is designed exactly like a Jk setup and you have a JL styled steering stabilizer. You have the wrong parts. Most aftermarket tie rods are the jk style. So you need a jk style steering stabilizer. If you doubt me call or go to a 4wd shop.

You can see in the pictures that this is the case that I used on my personal JTR.

I completely agree with you and I want to do that. The bracket you have on yours is available through Falcon and can be purchases separately for the stabilizer I have. The only problem is that it's not big enough to fit the Rockjock rod. The biggest axel mount bracket they have available for the Nexus stabilizer is 1 5/8 (1.625inch)and I need one that is 1.65inch.

So the difference of the two bars is .025 right? And it’s a clamp right? That’s barely over the size of a piece of paper.

I’m pretty sure that bracket you linked would work… here’s a picture of the difference with my calipers

Thanks for checking. I just heard back from Clayton and they said the same thing. I am going to try it and see what happens.

Report back when you get it if it fits. .025" isn't much, but it's more clearance than I would expect on a machined part like that. You might have to enlarge it a hair. You could use something like this to get that done if needed:

Will do. Thanks. Can you recommend which one to get with what my needs are?

Or call a local machine shop and see if they can open the clamp up a bit.
