I suggest to the OP that he go slow on the mods before he falls into a very deep rabbit hole. The lift and tires are the last thing you do after you have gained knowledge of what you really want and how to get there. Sounds like he wants "the look" more than ability. For a DD with the look I suggest a 2 inch lift, 35's, nice aftermarket wheels, rocker rails. After that the list is endless.

I’m running 37’s with a 3.5” lift. I’d never go higher. It’s great this way. Higher would be tough to use as a daily driver, which I do. Yes, you’ll want to regear for 37’s, especially with the 3.6. I’m on 5.13’s and it’s great. I have the auto and see all 8 gears. You wouldn’t even see 7-8 on 4.10. I wouldn’t go less than 4.88, but if you’re doing it, you might as well do 5.13. Here’s a side view to give you an idea of how it could look.

Thanks for the insight! I am now leaning towards a 3.5 lift with 35's. What brand lift did you go with? I love the stance your has! Great looking truck!

Thanks. Mostly the JKS 3-3.5 j venture package. The estimate is 3” for rubicons and 3.5 for sport or overland. I used yeti Steersmarts for steering and track bars, etc. fixed length JKS LCAs for the lift. The stance is different because I used a BDS ram 1500 rear spring mod, designed for 3” lifts. That kept my rake for hauling and towing. It has also proven to greatly improve departure angle. I much more rarely find my hitch skid with the rake. If I had to guess, the rear is probably lifted 4” or more, compared to 3 in the front. I’m really happy with how it turned out.

If its brand new, i would wait until you know you dont have a lemon or other issues that will manifest itself in the first yr or so before doing anything that has potential to void any warrantied parts imo.

Here is what 38s and 4" front and 2"rear lift look like . Honestly I feel like it's at the limit of the average Joe's daily driveability. Certainly a tick beyond the tipping point of perfection that 37s offered on less lift . Really I probably netted less overall lift than stated due to added weight . Remember I have highline fenders also . TIFWIW
