Hello!
Well the curse of getting stranded with a near new Gladiator has hit me.

I am the original owner, truck was ordered by me and built in November 2021. I have 5,800 miles. 3.0 V6 Diesel but I think this has nothing to do with the diesel engine.
I have a video below but PLEASE NOTE I am mumbling through my full face motorcycle helmet that compresses my cheeks (not butt), it's difficult to speak.

To me, this seems like some sort of an electrical issue with ground or ECU failure. Note, on the screen (where the gear indicator is) it intermittently says NO BUS.
Sudden loss of power steering, the wipers were not on but they were actuating, the A/C was cycling on and off, the service shifter message is on, the truck was running erratically at one point (not firing on all cylinders) and the transmission was shifting between 1st and 3rd constantly on idle.
The biggest issue of all of this is sudden loss of power steering at any speed.

So here you go ladies and gents, enjoy the video and hopefully it gets an exorcism soon.

Btw Jeep Roadside assistance sucks, first you call then they send you a text then you gotta do this stupid questionnaire online before they send a tow. What if I didn't have internet, what the f. Triple A is way better but I didn't want to use my benefits when I have roadside through Jeep.

I called the tow and sent it straight to the dealer. They said they will need about a week before they can look at it. I will try get a rental car. It's really unacceptable for dealers not to have loaners and for FCA/Stellantis not to be responsible for our cost when the vehicle is faulty

They should provide you a rental car free of charge as part of the Jeep Wave program.

Get Jeep Cares involved. They should get you a rental for free. Or have the dealer do it.

I’ve dealt with some of them that are difficult you get one that is call back until you get one that will help.

Loaners/rentals are especially in short supply now. Due to the lack of cars to sell, many got sold out, or disappeared due to attrition and never replaced.

Definitely a bus communication issue. This isn't the first time by a long shot that there have been communication issues with these trucks.
But we're not alone - GM is battling similar.
The kicker is - it's going to take a really electrically skilled troubleshooting tech to find the issue. The ordinary person is going to have trouble.

I’ve dealt with some of them that are difficult you get one that is call back until you get one that will help.
Well I got lucky and ran into Lisa who is not an overseas outsourced person and she understood my issue and what I needed perfectly (full disclosure I am a foreigner/overseas person, from Europe). She said the rental would be covered in full and to continue using it and that she will, from now on, follow up with the dealer on progress and repairs. She will communicate via email and text. The cheapest rental was $69 per day and she confirmed it will be covered/reimbursed.

I'm guessing this is a grounding issue or ECU failure. If it was a canbus module some of the functions just wouldn't work, it wouldn't be going haywire.

Thank you, I still like it and still can say it is the best vehicle purchase so far. It does everything I need it to. If it can only be reliable from now on, that would be great, haha.
