Ever get hit in the face with one on a mtn bike going 25? Pain, pain, pain...We are full on lightning bugs and June bugs here in central Texas. Crazy June bugs fly like a 2 door Jeep with a 4.5" lift, 40" tires in a 50mph cross wind!
I would bred with her. Would not kick her out of bed.Looks like she got sent to the grocery store to get bred!
A see you zoomed in! ??Whoever made that one should've seen the sign in back that looks like it says Safeway!
Natures Own!Looks like she got sent to the grocery store to get bred!
Run into a swarm of bee's on a motorcycle. Or hit a bat at night doing 70 mph and have him bounce off your chest and land in your lap. Miss the first 2 cows and hit the 3rd one on a back country road at night doing 80 mph and walk away from it with only a broken foot.Ever get hit in the face with one on a mtn bike going 25? 100% on my house.AMEN!
Oh, and for those not paying attention -- fossil fuels are generating the majority of the electricity that powers those fuckers. Whoa? Wait? What?
19.8%
How much of U.S. energy consumption and electricity generation comes from renewable energy sources? In 2020, renewable energy sources accounted for about 12.6% of total U.S. energy consumption and about 19.8% of electricity generation.Nov 2, 2021
US Energy Information Administration (EIA)
And, what about the Lithium required for those batteries -- any guesses on where that comes from, and what nations we are going to beholden to get the USA to be "free" of fossil fuels?
And, where are those environmental impact studies on where/how we are going to recycle battery units?
Before I get off my soap box, I am not against electric, hybrids of any form, renewable energy, or conservation. But, common sense needs to be the key. Stop the Social Justice War on behalf of the environment.
And the Palo Verde station in AZ is running out of water to cool the reactor, because why? You guessed it. It's a never ending circle.@Rusty PW ..." You want energy. Nuke is the way to go. But it takes decades and billions of dollars just for the permitting. Then another 40+ billion and a decade to build. To build a nuke plant now from permitting to online will take over 40 years. "
AND don't forget TMI ... they had 763 workers for a 1,000 mW nuck, so in the PJM hourly market they were TOO expensive and they de-commissioned it .. there goes another cheap "Green Energy"
Or come upon a buzzard at 80 feeding in middle of the road on your little 250 Desmo and it barfs as you desperately try to duck it.Run into a swarm of bee's on a motorcycle.
