Roll N Lock XT (T slot) with Yakima Outpost HD

I know there are a lot of people waiting for a bed cover with a T slot in it that will mate with a yakima racks(and others). I had the Roll n lock XT installed recently. I Put my rack on it last night to see how if fits. It is a good fit with the T slot adapters (yakima) but they are a tad bit too big on the outer edge. Not a problem as they bend easily since they are plastic. You could cut them to fit but I didn't bother. It does move your rack backwards slightly due to the box housing the rolled bed cover. There is still plenty of rack to mount a tent to, etc. Overall, I'm impressed and happy somebody finally came out with this option. By the way, I did reach out to roll n lock and they said they have no plans to make the all metal cover (A version?) for the gladiator. Apparently the all metal one is too large when retracted so the box in front hits the gas filler neck. This one is the vinyl covered version (M?) so you will have to be slightly more careful setting things on it. It is vinyl over metal for anyone who isnt familiar with roll n locks.

T-slot adapters? Was that an add-on to the roll-n-lock tonneau? I have the RR labeled version of the roll-n-lock, but no t-slot/channel. They didn’t offer it a year ago.

correct. They just started offering this version recently. It's the XT version. Comes with the T slots.

Not sure if you can get just the rails from them or if they would be backward compatible with older covers. Might be worth a call to them.

Just checked their site. They definitely did not have that when I bought mine. Dang. They sell replacement tracks, but not the XT version.

It is not. However, the owner over there has his rack mounted with them and I was considering going that route when I contacted them about all my options.

I was considering the BAK Revolver with the t-slots but ended up going with a cheaper cover for now.
