Trying to find some real life experience. I have a set of Rubi springs (339AC & 340AC) and a set of Mojave springs (569AA & 570AA). Does anyone know if these will yield any difference in lift? They look very similar in overall size and weight, but the Mojave is supposed to sit 1 inch taller, right? Unfortunately, I don’t have the work space nor the tools available to me, so I will have to have someone install them for me. Just trying to make a decision on what pair to go with.

The mojave front springs are a stiffer and will sit 1” higher than the rubicon.

What shocks do you have planned?

I have a set of Fox Rubicon shocks, but if these truly will provide a full inch over the Rubicon springs, I might have to consider getting a pair of shock extenders. The plan is to keep the max tow springs in the back. I don’t want too much of a lift, as I’ll have issues with clearing the parking garage

Im not sure what 1” shock extensions are out there, but that would work well. The stock Rubicon shock MIGHT not have enough rebound damping for the spring rate, so my recommendation would be install the springs and see how it drives. If youre happy with the drive, then work a shock extension if you really care about the trade off of losing an inch of down travel for an inch of up. If it seems bouncy on the up travel/return steoke, get a set of Fox 2.0 shocks, and theyll have enough rebound damping in the piston to not bounce on the shock.

I only say might because the rubicons i drove were all very soft, and the increase in spring rate to generate 1” lift at same soring length is likely something you’ll feel in the drive. but that doesnt mean there might not be enough rebound damping in the shock, so just evaluate.

Hope that helps.

Also remember to be sure to put the right spring in the right corner. I think the longer of the two goes passenger side but double check me.

Yes, I believe the higher/even number goes on the passenger side. As it sits right now, packed full of wheels and 35 inch tires, I have 20 3/8 inches from center of the hub to bottom of the fender lip in the front. I’d love to get that number closer to 22.

It took me a minute to find time to get this done, but the front springs are in. I ended up gaining about 1 1/4 inch lift on the passenger side, and close to 1 3/8 inches on the driver side. Pretty happy with the result!

Maybe I missed it. What springs did you go with?

I went with the Mojave springs in the front, 569AA & 570AA. Left the max tow springs in the rear. Swapped the max tow shocks for Rubicon shocks front and rear.

I have no regrets, if I were to do it again, I would maybe just add a half to a 1-inch spacer, to even out the rake a little more. I’m currently away for work, and my rental, a wrangler Sahara, is a lot stiffer, and less comfortable than my gladiator.

awesome. I am thinking mojave springs front and back on my overland with falcon shocks or maybe rubi shocks

I am not overly impressed with the Rubi shocks, tbh. I haven’t tried the falcons, but I’m sure someone has a comparison, or some advice. Maybe spring for the Falcons (no pun intended) ?

Hey! Would you guess that Mojave springs would increase more than 1" on the Overland?

Results can vary based on the exact part number springs you use and the weight of your own Overland. When one says "Mojave springs" or "Rubicon springs", one has to keep in mind there are multiple spring numbers used under each level of truck, based on options and weight. I know of at least 3, maybe more, front spring numbers for Rubicon, for example.
