Hello hope someone can help, I purchased a set of Fuel Rebel 17X9 wheels and BF Goodrich 37’s. I mounted the wheels and torqued to spec 130, but the wheels are still loose. I purchased them through discount tire direct they sent the hardware also conical spline lugs. They’re sending another set.

I’m running Fuel wheels and went with Pro Comp lug nuts for the depth of the lug nut.

I did try them with the wheel off and compared them to the stock ones and they both reached the same distance on the wheel stud. Unfortunately one of the stud snapped, I’m hoping the others are fine. Hopefully the other set they’re sending me work.

I didn’t look up the torque specs on mine when installing. I only torqued to 110 going off “old school teachings”
Was surprised to see 130 recommendations….
If you bottomed the lug nut and kept trying to hit 130, that’s probably the reason of a broken lug

Your lugs are bottoming out before meeting the wheel mount surface, the comparison to the stock lugs means nothing. Its the thickness or design of the mounting surface (where the lug tightens against) that is the determining factor

Are there clips on the inside of the wheels that have to be removed?

JL and JT use a flush set screw for the brake rotor retention to the hub face. Not like the JK and prior that had those retention clip washers on the lug studs that would interfere with some aftermarket wheels.
