Hi all. I have a 2020 Gladiator with the factory trailer harness. There is no power to the constant current (one o'clock) pin in the 7 pin receptor. I checked the two 30 amp hitch fuses (36 & 37), as well as the other trailer fuses (107, 109, 111) even though they appear to be for the lights. For full disclosure, I did have some minor body work done recently but it was on the passenger side rear panel opposite to the side the trailer wire runs. Any thoughts on where else to look for problems? Thanks for any and all suggestions!!

How are you testing - what are you using to determine if there's power?
If a test light - are you going to a good ground and have you proven it's a good ground?
If a meter - same question - are you sure you are making contact to a bare steel ground, or using the ground in the trailer plug itself to test?

Sometimes things are tested - only to find the issue was with the test method or device being used to test, not the thing being tested.

Have you turned the lights on and checked spot #3 to see if that is hot with the lights on?

Look to see that the connector at the back of the plug is firmly seated and nothing has come loose or been pulled loose.

Depending on the body work done - was the rear bumper removed to work on it? Did things get reconnected?

Thanks Shadows. I was not clear on the prior post. I am using a multimeter. There is power to all other pins, all lights and blinkers work. Just no power to the constant current pin 4. I don't think they had the bumper off to do the body work. Was wondering if there is another junction point from the fuse box for the constant hot wire, some other breaker/fuse in the line, known point of weakness, etc. This is a lightly used truck with 16k miles, and the harness worked until recently (every day, there is a blade light plugged into it that needs the constant current feed to work).

Just to round out this loop. There was a break in the line. Seems likely that the body shop took off the bumper, and it is the culprit. I did also had a mouse nest in the truck a few months ago, but this looks to me like the body shop severed it with the bumper mount bolt, and then backed it out and reinstalled the bolt as the wires were not shorted, and the wires were not under the bolt. Jacka$$es. The main power and trailer brake line were severed. I spliced in a pair of patch wires, and we are back in business.

Yeah, I'd say the body shop had the receiver and probably the bumper off.
I wonder how that happened without blowing the 30 amp fuse for that 12v line.....
