Ko’s ‘22 JTR “build”

Just took possession of my 2022 JTR in Gobi from @Koons_of_Tysons_Corner on 6/11/22.

Previously, I had a supercharged 2011 Toyota Tundra:

Got these delivered before the truck:

When I got back from VA this was waiting for me:

After install, immediately lowered my tires to the recommended 37 psi.

(They were at 40 psi)

On Monday, free headlights showed up!

Then I broke the mirror:

(It snapped back together)

Installed the LED headlights today. Straight forward and I cannot believe that you can pull the front end off a jeep without using any tools!

these do require you to run a wire to the fuse box for the halo, but for $268 I am extremely happy with the look and LED output.

Moved my AM/FM antenna today. Much better!

wrapped the antenna in the rubber tubing everyone uses on the fender gap (to prevent rattling) and shoved it under the dash towards the drivers side.

Was perusing Facebook marketplace and picked up an unused set of Mopar rubber mats for $40!

I really wanted the red Jeep logo, but I ain’t complaining!

Took my first baby step into becoming a true jeeper. Took the freedom panels off.

Added a pleather cover to the center console, ceramic coated the interior, and installed some Amazon LED fogs.

next up is setup Jscan and install LED fender lights.

Took the doors off for the first time and ran some $4 scooter mirrors from auto zone.

Painted the logos red.

Tinted the front windows/windshield and added a 8.4” screen protector.

added some interior cubbies and a red key cover to prevent the button from being pressed and the key popping out.

Stock height, stock tires, and stock wheels.

going to add TF 1.5 up front and 3/4” Daystar in the rear when my wheels come in. Got 35s sitting in the garage.
