It is twill, Ive had no issues with it… though I would probably get the Mopar roll version if I had to do it again just for convenience.
Take care with the Allen screws on the mounts, there isn’t much room for error between tight and stripped.
I think you should be ok, I test drove a newly delivered Jeep at a dealer last year and the radio is disabled from the factory (some sort of transport mode), how ever rear back up display activates when put into reverse.
In 10,000 miles I have had to replace both the upstream & downstream O2 sensors on the drivers side, additionally the alternator was replaced in an attempt to solve this I believe... at the moment the new ones are not throwing any codes, but voltages are widely fluctuating.

The theory I have of how it might work would be to use canoe blocks on the bow gunwales resting on one or more of the soft top bars or more likely the solid portion near the windshield, most of the weight (30lb) would be situated on the Yakima Overhaul HD...
I'm trying to get an idea if it's feasible to transport my 13' Wenonah Fusion canoe on something like a Yakima Overhaul HD truck bed rack while also hauling my 16' travel trailer.
