  1. Opinion on name of your jeep decal on hood?

My vote is yes, but only if you add one of these OG bug shields and put the truck's name on it with mailbox lettering decals. Bonus points if sunset plate matches your Jeep color. Please post when done!
  2. Replacement Door Pockets For All Variations of JL Wrangler (2018-Current) JL, JLU, JT Gladiator

JCR and American Adventure Lab both make nice molle panels, but not a molded panel like this.
  3. YIKES! - That Steer Smarts Brace Didn't Save This One

I was surprised the sector shaft didn't break before the pitman arm!
  4. Some Of Jeep's Best Customers Simply Can't Afford A Jeep Anymore

I think Jeep would take the stance that they aren't their best customers if they can't afford it.
  5. Migrating a G DE-tuned ECM to another Gladiator

I can tell you this did not work for a gas JT. Jeep has quite a few different OS's and they may not match vehicle to vehicle. If they don't, things will not work well module-to-module. Did you ask the tuner by chance?
  6. Anyone have experience running AEV HC coils with a Rock Krawler Adventure 3.0 Pro lift on a Gladiator.

Roger that, After talking with AEV and Clayton, they were both looking at keeping the factory rake in the JT with their high-capacity springs, but that might be at two different points (loaded vs unloaded). That said, there was quite a bit of difference of height in the rear when unloaded...
  7. Anyone have experience running AEV HC coils with a Rock Krawler Adventure 3.0 Pro lift on a Gladiator.

My experience - I ran the AEV 3-inch coils with Clayton arms, Teraflex control arm brackets, and Fox 2.5's. The ride is good, soft-ish, so I needed to increase dampening on the shocks. For my application, I ran into a concern where the lift from the coils was closer to what I've seen for a...
  8. Forum sponsors, and misleading sales.

I'll second this approach. I just unsubscribed/marked as spam for all of the misleading email advertising and the catalogs make an ok fire starter. After ordering something from one of the vendors mentioned in this thread and waiting nearly a year for it, I cancelled the order when I could not...
  9. I want to STEEL-IT and I need help !

This is Steel-it over a bare motobilt diff cover. It's been fine for over two years now. I chipped it either swapping out my track bar or when I re-geared. Might get around to touching it up... some day. I spray it heavy first pass and let it dry for 8-ish hours then hit it with a lighter coat.
  10. Quick Fist/Clamp mounting options for molle panels

I use builtright stuff for some applications I have, but in some cases I just use std. hardware and it works fine. https://builtrightind.com/collections/riser-mounts https://builtrightind.com/collections/tech-plates
  11. Pennsylvania Sold: Clayton 3.5 inch Springs - F&R, 3.6, Standard Duty

Hi Gang - We ended up going with shorter springs on our rig so selling a front and rear set of Clayton 3.5 inch springs. These are for gas engines and are the standard-duty triple rate rear spring. These were installed for about 3800 miles and they are in good, usable shape. Shipping is...
  12. Uh Oh... Trouble in Paradise.

Have them check your hinges too! We are having the same issue with ours; warranty appointment is in October.
  13. Am I trying to pull too much?

We towed a MM 2108FBS (5k GVWR, with weight distro hitch) with our JT for about 3500 miles a couple of summers ago. The JT pulled it fine and survived, but it wasnt always happy, that's for sure. The states that gave us the biggest issues/aggravations were in the midwest (i.e., Kansas) because...
  14. Vision Offroad - Unite Modular Lighting System

Vision X has been around for some time. They are out there running Baja and other desert races; maybe not as prolific as the more popular brands. They had some of their lights (IR, LEDs, etc.) on MRAPs and other wheeled vehicles in the Army. I have their rear bumper backup light set and they...
  15. Noticed a small leak while changing oil. Are these plugs able to come out and replaced

Yea, spills happen, just need to clean the valley and keep an eye on it before assuming the worst. I've seen everything from people filling the oil thru the coolant reservoir to using the oil pan as a jacking point, so nothing surprises me at this point.
  16. Noticed a small leak while changing oil. Are these plugs able to come out and replaced

If you spilled enough oil in the intake valley while changing your oil, it will seep down from the top of the engine to those plugs.
  17. Rock Hard Patriot Sliders finish not holding up

I have had Rockhard equipment on other vehicles and the finish flaked after a year or two. We live in PA and drove the vehicle in the snow....They salted the roads so expected the rust. As others have said, it only lasts so long in the rust belt. On the other side of the coin, with any paint...
  18. Softopper coming

Copy that, thank you. The main concern is keeping the amount of dust and crap that gets into the bed down. I definitely like the fact that you can get solid, tinted, or screen rear windows for it. I would need the solid back window to keep things out of sight, which is the other thing on my mind.
  19. Softopper coming

Bringing this back from the dead. I was searching the thru Googles to see if I could get some pros/cons on these and came across a gent on YouTube that more less gave up on the tailgate velcro and the front window was giving him some issues with coming loose while driving. Has anyone on here...
