I've been wondering about these as well. I contacted küat and the CS wasnt too helpful irt when the panels would be available for the JT, only that a Taco version would be out first.
And all this time Ive been using it to cover my eyes when things get hairy offroad and I didn't want to look! I thought it was kind of strange that it didn't have a handle, so I just taped a popsicle stick to it
Interesting. I have a buddy that has an SVE Camaro, I did not realize they had a setup for the JT. Mileage did not go down, it was marginally better. Lifting it fro 2 inches to 4.5 inches is what caused my fuel mileage to drop.
Check your hood as well, we just got all 10 hinges replaced and the hood refinished. You'd think Jeep would have that dissimilar metal thing figured out given the issues on the WK2, but I guess they aren't rocket surgeons afterall.
I sent them an email asking for a little more info for the JT cap and did not get a response, so will be watching here. We're looking at getting one, but kind of want a vendor that is close by rather than 400+ miles away.
ICON is not a brand I've tried but definitely considering for another truck we own.
I've owned the Mopar lift and I think the AEV lift is close to the Mopar 2 inch in height. Of the two, AEV rides better, and I believe measured true to the 3 inch lift. I had the Mopar lift before I had the JT...
I would say Claytons work better for my use case in terms of lift/load (towing). I'm on my fourth set of springs... and I have my old Clayton springs for sale too. The AEV springs rode a lot better, especially on PA roads, they were just not where I wanted to be on lift height.
Hey Sam, I could've sworn we talked about these when you swung by. Maybe not. I have the Clayton HD rears in along with their 3.5 fronts. They fit my current shock setup better now as well.
Hi - Selling a used set of Fox 2.5 adjustable rear shocks for 3.5-4 inches of lift. The part number is 883-26-075. These were installed and run for about 5600 miles. They are used, but no bends, pits, leaks, etc. DSC adjusters work fine. There is some marking on the bottom shock mount due to...
Hi - I am selling a set of AEV springs. These are their 3-inch high-capacity springs, part number NJT21502AA. I had these on my JT for about three weeks this past summer, there is nothing wrong with them, just didn't fit my needs. These are definitely for constantly loaded vehicles; the rake is...
We had a 4xe loaner for a while that had the blacked out bezels. Looked tough and I definitely would prefer the blacked out version, but the silver looks fine matched against our billet JT. We've somehow made it without them for the past 4 years, although now thinking the blacks would definitely...
I ran air bags on a 3.5 inch lift, both bags tied together like Jack, and never had an issue with flexing out to the bumps, even at 5 PSI. Towed fine, and level. The issue with the bags came when I added more weight to the bed and aired up to higher pressures. The bags only do so much and ride...
